Getting Started

The first step to getting started is to schedule a time to meet with one of our coaches, this will be done by a private session or if a time cannot be scheduled then you will be directed to what class time will be best for you to get assessed and to discuss your options. The only way to make an informed decision about whether our program, our gym and our people are right for you is to come down, meet us and try us out. During this time we’ll give you a tour of the facility, talk about what you’ve been doing with yourself, and what you’re wanting out of the program, discuss CrossFit as a method and how we run the gym, and go over the basic movements and fundamentals of crossfit, enrollment, pricing and schedule.

If you have done CrossFit before we'll sign you up and get your started right away.  If you are new to Crossfit we offer 3 free trial classes, where you will be in class with our members, but will get a scaled version of what we do.  The coaches will work with you on the fundamentals and get you comfortable with the movements, language, and concept of Crossfit.  The next step is to choose a membership package and join the gym.   This is a list of the basic movements you will learn at Beo. ( Barbell Back Squat, Front Squat and Overhead Squat, the Snatch and the Clean, Kettle Bell work, the Overhead Complex, Basic Gymnastics/Bodyweight movements, etc. ).

We have 3 different programming options.  The 1st and least intimidating is Fitness/Bootcamp.  This will increase your overall fitness level and will include some lifting, but will not include or be very limited with Olympic movements.  The second is Performance.  This will be true Crossfit programming and you will learn to advance your skills in all the movements of Crossfit as well as doing a WOD (Workout of the Day) each day.  Barbell is our advance programming and will be for more skilled athletes that want to hit bigger weights and develop their Olympic lifting skills along with advanced gymnastics and other various functional movements.

It can be intimidating when you watch videos of CrossFit or see the World Games on TV. Please understand that the program is infinitely scalable and we accommodate you the client not the other way around. We train 5 year olds to 70 year olds, all different body types, athletic abilities and professions – people from all walks of life. CrossFit may not be for you, it’s not for everyone. But the determining factor is almost never your physical ability or condition.
