Whether you're a beginner or just need a refresher, these insights will set you on the path to success.

  1. Trust the Process: Starting CrossFit can be overwhelming, especially when faced with complex movements and intense workouts. Trusting the process is crucial. Understand that progress takes time and consistent effort. Don't compare yourself to others; focus on your own growth and the work you’re putting in day after day. Celebrate small victories! They contribute to significant improvements over time.
  2. Be Consistent: Consistency is the key to unlocking your potential in CrossFit. Establish a regular schedule that fits your lifestyle and commit to it. Set realistic goals and show up consistently, even on days when you’re tired and unmotivated. Your dedication will yield remarkable results and help you build momentum toward achieving your long-term goals
  3. Pay Attention to Your Nutrition: Almost every OG Beo member said they wished they’d paid attention to nutrition earlier in their CrossFit journey. To get the results you want out of CrossFit, fueling your body with proper nutrition is essential. Your diet should consist of a balance of macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals). Don’t know what or how much you should be eating? Reach out to a coach and ask for guidance. 
  4. Listen to and Ask for Help from Your Coaches: CrossFit is a demanding discipline that requires technical proficiency. Your coaches are there to guide and support you. Pay close attention to their instructions, seek their advice, and ask questions when in doubt. They possess a wealth of knowledge and experience to help you master the proper techniques, prevent injuries, and progress safely. Let a coach know if there is a movement you’d like to improve on. They can direct you on a path to mastering it!
  5. Develop Relationships with Other Gym Members: One of the unique aspects of CrossFit Beo is the sense of community it fosters. Take the opportunity to connect with other gym members. Building relationships within your Beo community not only enhances the overall experience but also provides invaluable support and motivation. Take the initiative to introduce yourself to new faces at the gym and engage in conversations.
